Mr Eugene Oteng-Ntim is a consultant Obstetrician ( A doctor specialising in and focusing on the care of pregnant woman and childbirth) at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, Lansdell Suite and the Portland Hospital . He is president of the Maternity and Newborn Forum at the Royal Society of Medicine. He completed his medical training at Guy's and St Thomas' Medical School.
Eugene is renowned for his gentle and integrated approach to pregnancy, birth and women's health care. His guiding philosophy is based on respect for pregnancy as a state of health and childbirth as a normal, healthy physiologiacal process.
Mr Oteng-Ntim fully supports natural birth, combined with the insight, skills and safety of modern obstetric practice. His obstetric care respects the diversity of women's needs and the variety of personal and cultural values that women bring to pregnancy and birthing.
Eugene is a member of St Thomas' well established High Risk obstetric team. He is driven to empower individuals to improve their quality of life and avoid preventable health problems. Eugene is married with four children.
